  • A nice greeny area in the middle of Borough that's frequented by locals from the surrounding buildings. A mixture of residents and medical students tend to make the most of it during the summer months. Otherwise it's used for dog walkers and runners the rest of the year. For sunbathers, you can enjoy the sun for most of the day until 3 to 4 hours before sunset; the position of the buildings blocks out the sun completely. There's also a five a side football pitch surrounded by a cage, which can be booked in advance. Over all, nothing too special but still a nice place to relax and get away from the concrete of the area.

  • I've live accross the road from this park and have done for 8 years. The park itself is lovely. It has a nice grassy area, football pitch, basketball court, nature garden, park for children and then some gym equipment and ping pong tables. Perfectly fine to go to if you want to relax or take your children out for a kick about or go for a jog, things like that. But only while the sun is still out. However, it's not somewhere I would recommend going to late at night. Or walking through at night either. It tends to be where the 'roadmen' Come out and there have been a number of muggings in the park. As well as this, the nature garden in the centre of has been overrun with drug addicts where it isnt uncommon to see someone shooting up in the bushes.

  • Tabard Gardens is a great local park which many residents in the area walk their dogs. Also non dog owners use the park for relaxation and contemplation. There is an astroturf football pitch for hire which has floodlights.

  • This is one of the best spots of London. The park is well looked after and the setting stunning. There are many different bird species and squirrels: look out for the pelicans and black swans. It is perfect for a break from the hustle and bustle of London, but avoid times close to the change of the guard (11 a.m.),as it gets very busy.

  • Great little park with some sports stuff and outdoor gym gubbins at one end, and some grassy space to relax etc at the other. Sainsbury's nearby for supplies as well as a couple of pubs.
