What a great idea for a bar! Loved the decor. The staff throughout were really friendly and helpful, can't fault them in any way. The cocktail menu was outstanding! Our 2 hour slot was amazing and we enjoyed every minute. The cocktails were some of the best I've had. Quirky touches made this an unforgettable evening. Would definitely visit again!
Nice place! They decked out an old tube station and made an underground bar. Looks lovely and has a great atmosphere. There was live music inside which was really cool. Only negatives were we had to wait ages in line to get in and then when we got in we were told that we only had an hour inside. Drinks were a little pricey but it’s a nice place to go for a special occasion.
Staff at this place is rude and they operate a discriminating door policy, as a few reviews here have already mentioned. We had a table for four booked and the last member of our group was denied entry at the door due to him wearing cycling shoes. He was wearing an appropriate work shirt, black trousers and black cycling shoes, which are no more or less sporty than the trainers that other people on the evening were allowed in with. Also considering when you sit, your shoes are usually invisible under the table and the shoes being plain black, surely nobody would have taken offence by them in the dimly lit bar. After pointing this out, the manager had no convincing argument, except that this was the dress code. Having said that, there was no mention of any dress code in the booking confirmation or anywhere clearly on the website unless you do a deep search in the Q&A. None of us were dressed inappropriately at all. If it hadn't been for the booking and the invitation from friends, I would not have spent a penny in this bar, considering the cocktails also contain more water and decoration than actual alcohol at pretty high prices being charged. You pay for the looks and feel of the retro style bar but not for any quality or service. Will not come back here, tourist trap!
I had a seriously enjoyable time here last week. How have I never been here before. The decor is so cool. 1940s tube train look has never looked better. The staff are so nice and welcoming. The drinks are so good. I cannot say enough good things about this place. I will definitely go again.
Unique place. The atmosphere they have is amazing. Service is friendly although a bit slow. The place is always full so you must make a reservation before going. Drinks are good. Live music, nice people. It’s a good place to visit any night you are in London. It’s underground so avoid it if you suffer claustrophobia!
