  • Found by chance last weekend, this tea room is an hidden jewel just behind Kensington Palace and Hyde Park. Teas and cakes are delicious. You can smell all the teas thanks to little samples! The whole tea room is very elegantly decorated. The team are very friendly. And there even are a few tables outside to enjoy a good cup of tea and the sun! I do really recommend going to the Candella, it is an amazing, cosy and relaxing place, where you will have a very pleasant time.

  • A great place for tea lovers! Really well priced for the area and the vibe of the tea room was very cosy and eccentric. The selection of teas was vast and full of different flavours to please all pallets. Highly recommend, oh, and the banana cake was like heaven on earth!

  • A group of friends and I were in London for the afternoon and we wanted to get traditional British tea. We ended up deciding to go to this one because it did not look too busy and we wanted a very chill afternoon. Our server, Vassillis, was super accommodating to us especially since there were six of us. Two of our group did the tea for two and the rest got the family tea for four. For the family for four, we chose the Black Rose and Vanilla tea. Both were very delicious but my favorite was the Black Rose Tea. This whole tea room was beyond our expectations and it was an amazing afternoon. It is such a great price divided by all of us and I ended up buying the Black Rose Tea. If I could give this place all the stars I would, they were such great team players especially with such a huge and loud group.

  • Great place to have a tea or coffee with delicious cakes! Very friendly staff! Orginal decorated inside! One think- sometimes you have to book table ahead if you want to come with more than 2 people..

  • It is a really nice place, a bit cramped but they have a large tea selection. It is small, so be ready to have to come back, or wait outside. But you can make reservations.
