  • Great Indian food... really delicious. Cozy atmosphere. The place is ran by the owner / manager which makes the service special... definitely I will come back

  • Not recommended and they clearly don't care that they keep receiving bad feedback! Had been warned about the poor hospitality yet visited the place as had heard good reviews ONLY for the food. But alas, like it happened to many others, the so called "General Manager" didn't let us get to the food. Although, one of the staff told us the wait would be long and they'll try for a table, the "General Manager" asked us to clear the way stating he knows better that there are no tables. Few others waiting along with us were also startled by his response and left. Sad that even such a place is always a full house but it's probably the location or ONLY the food which we never got to eat!

  • Non existing service. After 10 min of waiting I went to the bar for drinks. Bad value for money. 1 small glass of wine and 2 apple (concentrated) juice was £28!!! The wine tested like a £3.99 bottle. I don’t recommend

  • Waitress was so rude so got up and walked out. Shame as I really wanted to eat there.

  • I booked an afternoon tea for 4 people after giving much thought at Cinnamon Soho as it was a birthday treat for my mother’s 73rd birthday. She is a vegetarian so I left a message for Cinnamon Soho, when I made the booking that she does not eat eggs or fish and that we were celebrating her 73rd birthday. On the day, upon arrival I stated that we had made a booking through Afternoon Tea.co.uk but it seemed that they were not expecting us, so 15 minutes later the waiter asked for our order so I told him again we had made a booking for afternoon tea. Half an hour later we were served masala chai at which time I asked the waitress if she was expecting us and if she had read the message left when the booking was done through Afternoon Tea.co.uk. I was met with a blank expression, which prompted me to ask whether she had understood what I had said. She said she would get the manager to speak to me. The manager came and I asked the same question to him about receiving the message sent regarding my mother’s dietary requirements. He checked the booking and said that 80% of the afternoon tea contained eggs and was not suitable. I told him he should have notified me earlier as I had made the booking over two weeks ago. He went to check with the chef and returned confirming that the afternoon tea was not suitable for my mum. By now it was an hour since we had been there and the waiter arrived with our afternoon tea’s for four people. I asked the manager if there was anything else on the menu that my mother could have instead if her afternoon tea and chose a simple Indian dish. My mum did not get any birthday acknowledgement or special treat. The bill was made for an incorrect amount so I had to remind them of my booking at the price of £30 for two people which the manager took much time and deliberation over before adjusting the bill for the reduced amount and adding £7.50 for my mother’s dish. Upon leaving there were no exchanges of thank you’ s or gratitude shown at all. The staff had little knowledge about Indian cuisine and dismissed every plate on the menu as not suitable for a vegetarian. To sum up the whole experience left me apologising to my mum for a disastrous treat. I would like to post a review for other people looking for an afternoon tea at Cinnamon Soho to avoid a heart aching disappointment.
