  • This was a fantastic hotel - I had some concerns beforehand after reading the reviews but I can’t fault it! So beautiful, great service, lovely rooms and very quiet! Gorgeous comfy beds and a lovely chocolate cookie on arrival. Excellent location and only a five minute walk to the nearest tube. Will definitely return.

  • Staff are helpful and polite. We think that their breakfast is very over-priced, starting at £15 for continental and £19+ for English. A great choice of places for breakfast in Covent Garden at 5 minutes walk is much better value. The room was fairly spacious and was clean and tidy. We like the provision of a fridge, hairdryer and iron / ironing board.

  • If you love no hot water and creative stories as to why there's none. If you love creative staff solutions how to survive without hot water. My favorite solution from the wonderful maintenance staff was to run your water for a while. After 25 to 30 minutes presto a luke warm early AM shower if your lucky. If you love planning your visit ahead and start the day with an awesome breakfast. Only to discover that the hotel randomly moves breakfast back 30 minutes despite what their signage state and most of their staff state. Its great to have early AM choices, such as to either skip a meal or to start your day 30 minutes behind. If you love small rooms and even smaller elevators which repeatedly get stuck. My favorite was getting stuck with all our baggage with the alarm going off (early AM) as we attempted our escape our last day. If you love a fitness center full of broken, dirty equipment. My favorite was the upright bike held together with zip ties. This will be the perfect place for you and your family to enjoy during your stay in London!

  • I had a 3 night stay at the hotel recently. Good: - The breakfast was surprisingly good. - The front desk staff was really helpful. - The room was clean. Bad: - Heating/cooling system is ancient - The shower water pressure was way too low. This was very unexpected and prime reason why I won't be coming back. - Missing modern amenities like chargers by the bed.

  • I quite liked it. Compared to West coast USA properties of the same name this was posh. The breakfast was good AND consistent EVERY DAY, weekend and weekday. There was a couple of quibbles with run down bits of the place. Like the hinges on the TV cabinet (concealing the mini fridge was about to fall off.) But it was quite nice overall. The neighborhood is fairly peaceful and you can sleep with windows cracked. Only one night did I notice an unpleasant outdoor city odor. It's So close to the British Museum too and so many other splendid things to see in London. The staff was super helpful. Management might be able to get on maintenance a bit more in the rooms, but public spaces were impecable.
