  • Rubbish service and some rubbish about company policy, which i would love to see, so my son can not drink alcohol even though its legal for him to drink. Food is on par with what i get at McDonald's. Pizza was burnt and hard to cut with a pizza knife, it was so crispy. Fries were just warm not hot, any longer they would be cold. Burger came and was dripping in grease. Was going to get desert but have no decided not to. Soft drinks are all ice to be honest It took about 10-15 mins to even get some one to take our order. Would never come here again!

  • Had a great meal today! We had the Mumbai, Naples and Melbourne we all really enjoyed. Service was excellent! Will definitely be going back!

  • Worst service, got the wrong order and then took 30 minutes to bring out the replacement. No apology!!! Bad bad bad

  • I have just had the most disappointing experience at Fire & Stone We were bought a theatre / dining experience and chose to eat at Fire & Stone - what a mistake! When we arrived, we noted the two course theatre meal had limited choice - I checked with the waitress and she said no problem to choose off of the main menu but there would be an "extra charge" No problem, meal served and bill requested. At which point we were presented with the full bill without any deduction for the prepaid meal. Assuming this to be a geniune mistake, I advised the waitress ( not the girl that served us) - apparently the mistake was mine! If you chose to eat off the main menu then there is no credit against the cost for the meal you have paid for! What a rip off... And no apology for any misunderstanding just a rude, curt response that " the girl who served you told you there would be a charge". Nice. I will contact the Theatre & Meal provider in the hope that they will remove this business from the list of options they provide you with for participating restaurants. In the meantime, don't let them rip you off as they have me - what a shame, but i assume that they need a few quid and this must be considered to be a great ruse....but they will never see me, my friends or business acquaintances again so enjoy tonight's profit- you may need it with that sort of service.

  • I hadn't been to Fire and Stone for many years and I'm dissapointed to say it is far from what I remember. We had calamari to start which was dissapointing and a small serving, would probably expect better at a pub. The pizza dough was a bit floury and they seem like they are rationing even the base sauce on pizzas nevermind the rest of the toppings. I used to really like the options of the menu and the pizza but considering the competition in the area that provide better pizzas at a cheaper price I don't see myself returning. One positive was the service of the staff, had a very cheery chap and was the highlight of the meal.
