  • Great fish, very fresh and cooked very well. Chips were crunchy and on point. I have to remove a star though. I decided to do take away since there was a long line for seating. Before I got my food, a few tables were free. I asked to be seated but they said they "don't do that". I offered to pay the difference between take away and eat in prices, but it wasn't "possible". I don't really understand these silly policies you find in some restaurants... These guys got great food, why not back it up with some common sense service.

  • It's good fish and chips. Best in London seems grandiose or London truly sets a low bar. Nice atmosphere. Menu is short and to the point. The price is steep.

  • Disappointing, used to be so good but the last couple of takeaways have been really poor. Fish is generally good but depends on who the chef is. Chips are hit and miss, often very small pieces of potato. Order anything else and it's not good, saveloy and sausage were both barely warm and had obviously been sat there for a while, mushy peas didn't even register as warm. Eating in is usually always good but if you takeaway they seem to give you the worst of everything, wouldn't recommend, there are far better places to go

  • The best fish & chips ever! We ordered a small cod & chips x 4. Chips were gorgeous, not greasy, fluffy and light. The fish, WOW! Crispy, skin-less cod which is rare now a days (lazy chippies usually keep the skin on... WHY?) We did have to wait to be seated but it was well worth the wait!

  • It is quite nice and clean place. I like their red flooring. Food is all right, good size portion- not the cheapest though. There are many fish&chips places you can definitely pay less. Some music in the background would be most welcome.
