Perfect Saturday brunch. Fabulous food. Friendly staff. Cool vibe. Our waitress was lovely and helpful. Meals came fast. Amazing hotcakes and coffees. Expect a long queue on weekends, but definitely worth the wait. Would go back again and again.
A trendy brunch place with all the ups and downs. Ups- Great brunch menu and good service. The hotcakes are a specialty and they are divine. Hot and soft they ooze freshness! The staff is super friendly and helpful Downs- Is usually busy so can be a wait before finding a seat.
We had dinner at Granger & Co in Notting Hill and had a good time. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff is friendly and helpful! The food is good and the menu provides some exciting options. I would definitely go there again :)
We had such high hopes after reading the reviews! Maybe it’s just what we chose to eat. My husband had the Aussie Breakfast and it came with an avocado that was black in the middle with tendrils reaching out. He said that the food was bland. The eggs were poached perfectly, however. They got his drink order wrong, and while my smoothie was good it was incredibly expensive (£5) for the small glass I received. I had what was essentially chicken noodle soup that was served with lumps of cooked tomatoes in a broth that tasted like thin Campbell’s bisque. It only had five small pieces of chicken in it. The description made the dish sound like chicken with vermicelli—our waitress said it was more like ramen. The rice noodles were few and soggy, the tomatoes were a surprise, and the ”soup” was just...not good. The ambience was nice and our waitress was friendly and helpful. Service was more like four stars, but for a posh restaurant with prices in the teens, we expected much more. What we got was an overpriced (£47 for two lunch entrees and two non-alcoholic drinks), disappointing meal.
Excellent food. If you're a fan of seafood, the shrimp burger is well worth a try. Pasta is lovely too.
