The only fortunate part about the destruction of the former site in Blitz in the year of 1941 was the coming up of this Guildhall Art Gallery. It is definitely one of the best places to visit for art lovers. It has a collection of the best of art collection from around the city. It is often described as a representative of the city that it is housed in and most of its collection belongs to the art collectors of the city. It opened up in 1885 and today houses a large number of paintings from around the world.

Guildhall Art Gallery And London's Roman Amphitheatre, London Reviews - Write a Review
Definitely a neat gallery. While its collections may not be as massive or famous as other galleries around London, the Guildhall Art Gallery is certainly worth a stop. A highlight of the building is the Roman Auditorium that can be found in its basement. It was very quiet the Friday that I visited. This was a pleasant surprise.
Beautiful place in a beautiful part of the city. Rally quick to go through it so its definitely worth a visit. Don't forget to go below the ground floor to get a look of the roman amphitheatre.
Well worth a visit. Free entry with Roman amphitheatre ruins as well! Some gorgeous works of art. Don't miss!
Absolutely stunning! Such an amazing place and it's free admissions! The tour guide was very lovely too, very informative and kind! I wasn't expecting to learn so much ☺
Fantastic gallery. Fantastic location. More than one level of wonder. Super staff as well.
