La Strada, London Reviews
Ordered beef stroganoff, tiny portion and had to ask for some beef! It was DISGUSTING... full of salt and no other fllavour. Beef was stringy and didnt taste of anything. Also when serving my food, the 'chef' moved the pasta to make a hole with his BARE FINGER. Rude staff... would not recommend, I feel sick! Doesnt even deserve one star and had to pay £11 for the experience
Small Italian Café/Restaurant who do nice food and a great cup of coffee. They are a cash only place but there is an ATM not far away, if you're stuck. For full English fans.... They do breakfast all day!!! One of the best Nicoise Salads I've had in a while. In a good location. Service was friendly and efficient. The waitress could see we were checking other places up the street for somewhere to eat lunch and asked if we'd like to look at the menu. It was just about right for what we wanted. We'll seek La Strada out again next time we're in the area. Bit of a gem!!
The Macchiato Test: bean roast is not burnt but not exciting, coffee temperature correct for flavour, milk slightly watery, possibly semi skimmed or steamed poorly? All in all pleasant and more competent than most.
Shisha for £50?! You have got to be kidding me.
If you don’t order a shisha they will kick out even though their prices are ridiculous.... you pay a coffee 5£, more expensive than a pint of beer
