Very good accommodations and close enough to Hyde Park and Harrods that a short walk takes care of travel there. Earl's Court station is a short walk away and from there, it's easy to access the rest of London. Room size is decent, and beds are very nice.
Pretty disappointing overall. The hotel is pretty old and poorly maintained. We arrived 7pm after 30 hours of travel and were told that our room wasn't ready and had to wait 30 minutes. The room we were put in was at the end of a musky, water damaged hallway, constant noise from the underground running directly below. Thin walls so we can hear everything from the adjoining rooms and hallway. Just not what was expected from a 4 star hotel. The area is nice though. And staff were apologetic about the check-in delay and offered free drinks at the bar.
The room was good, really good meeting and conference rooms. Staff were very nice however the breakfast let me down. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and for the two mornings I was there, the hash browns, tomatoes and baked beans were all rather cold (baked beans were warm but not warm enough to not freeze by the time you’re at your table). The hash browns could have spent another 5 mins in the fryer, as they were all still very cold in the middle. I left feedback on my table card but not sure if it made its way to the kitchen. It’s hard enough to find good vegan food but breakfast is the minimum requirement that I expect. I hope they improve since Marriott is rather pricey.
The rooms are pretty old and it’s pretty pricey. But the food is a thumbs up! Delicious variety eventhough I am a vegan! Loved the chef the this!
Rooms a bit run down and in need of some maintenance. Customer service acceptable but no more than that. Doesn't really merit the price but it's London so I guess that's what you get. Location is good for tube access. Not sure if I would stay here again. There a premier inn round the corner which would be as good and is cheaper.
