Was pleasantly surprised. Cozy rooms with sufficient space, must have been renovated somewhat recently, really good service and perfect location. We had a room on the 4th floor facing the backyard which was perfectly quiet.
Disappointed given the price. We paid a bit more for a superior double room as the rooms are quite often rated as small, and to be fair the room we got was a decent size, but it felt under-appointed and certainly wasn’t worth £200 for a single night. The room seemed a little tired and in need of some tlc - rawlplugs sticking out of walls and ceiling, black mould in the margins of the bathroom. By no means bad, and a good location, but underwhelming.
Very disappointing stay. Beware you may not get the room you are expecting. Booked through Expedia, which showed really modern ensuite standard doubles - I booked and so I was expecting that level of room. Turn up to check in a 5.30pm and I get this dated, tiny room. When I query with reception they say all the refurbished rooms go on a first come first served and there's nothing they can do. I wouldn't go back.
very disappointing. Small rooms, really small bathroom and shower, dirty and apparently not cleaned properly (I found someones contact lenses on the floor). the only light close to the bed didn't even had a light bulb...and right outside the window next to the bed there seemed to be a ventilation system or sth similar which was very noisy. room quality and price don't match at all. Happy that I only spend 1 night there!
Nice small hotel with a nice room. Windows dirty, but rest quite okay. Bathroom above average. Easy to book, Checkin and checkout. I will come back.
