Lovely place for lunch, booking recommended. I liked the menu where you choose a meat or fish then mix different salad options, or just go for a mix of salads. The sardines were fantastic, as were the side of aubergine. Roasted broccoli very disappointing, tasted watery. Overpriced for having one dish that wasn’t great, £45 for what is 2 salad dishes and tap water is too steep to make this a regular. Would definitely return but will look at the counter first as dishes not really as described on menu.
Came in for a morning tea/ late breakfast because of the toasters on the table, because let's face it, fresh hot toast is the best. Had thickly sliced sourdough and their berry jam. The tea selection is basic but satisfactory. The tea cup is a good size that you can get your fingers through, always a bonus.
Excellent service. High end but casual atmosphere. Each dish around £10 and it's reccomneded you get 5 or 6 but you can have fewer. Slightly noisy and busy. Some tables you have to sit with others - bear in mind when making the reservation. Food delicious- fresh, unusual but tasty combinations and very healthy
Interesting flavour combinations yielding delicious results! I had the Dutch pancake which was served in a cast iron pan which is cool but makes cutting the food and getting off of the pan surface more difficult. The peaches were quite hard (not surprising being the middle of winter) however they tasted peachy. Finding a way to source more seasonable fruit would be better. Some may find that serving size is on the small side for the price.
Nice breakfast here. Staff not very friendly, intact cold and a little abrupt. I have the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. The 3 tiny slithers of salmon were incredibly small. I'd say 6cm X 2cm each. The plate was swamped with leaves. Coffee was nice but wouldn't go back.
