At sunny lunchtimes, you'd be hard put to find a prettier setting for meals in central London. Queen Elizabeth Roof Garden Bar & Café is a place that defines contentment every time you go. At the venue, you’ll see food and drinks coming from a smart wooden bar area run by the cooks. Don’t seek for a full meal or a fry-up, as the short menu of light salads, sandwiches, cakes and snacks are served in great quantity. For a sundowner, drinks such as passion fruit mojitos, wild strawberry bellinis are definitely promising. And did we mention the view, across rooftops? Oh fine, we'll be quiet. Just head to the place and take the garden scent out into the world with you.

  • Absolutely packed with people coming from work. Definitely the trendy place to be after work hours on a Friday. Come here for the deals, they really pack them into the garden, however. It was super crowded with a younger crowd everywhere. Standing, sitting, blocking staircases, fire exits... we couldn’t find a waiter and decided to leave quickly. Nice place overall.

  • Best Place To Rest After Long Day At Southbank. Good Vibes & Drink Hefty Prices Expected Though For Location.

  • View is excellent! Lots of seating. Drinks are either watered down or small in size (cider bottle) Not good value for money on drinks; Unless you have the free water they offer next to the bar. Go for the view, it's worth it.

  • The atmosphere was good, especially on a sunny weekend. Felt more of an outdoor area where people are just congregating with drinks in their hands. If you can't find it just look for yellow staircases, and keep going up. The view was pretty nice and you can see some landmarks.

  • Great view not a very wide range of drinks and food and too expensive for most people
