Sky Garden London, London Reviews
Online the restaurant stipulate a formal dress code yet no one adheres to it. I always dress down but do not put some rubbish on your website about formality unless you mean it as I really did not enjoy ‘dressing up’ The food was fine, but expensive and really not not worth it for the price and poor customer service. The staff are far from attentive. I happily refused to pay the service charge. I give 1 star due to the amazing view. Just visit the coffee bar downstairs in the atrium, far better, friendlier and cheaper.
A great affordable place to bring family visiting for a wow effect! You get to visit the sky garden (and skip the queue) beforehand - for that, plan to arrive 45min early! Food is good (portions might look small, but feels you up). It's the second time I go, and still as great as the 1st time. This time we had non-alcoholic cocktails, and I'd recommend the Pink Petal to everyone (see in the pic). You have 1h30 to order and eat, but that's never been an issue to make it on time, service is very fast. We also got lucky and were given a window table, definitely makes the whole experience even better. Staff is great here! And they'll take pictures of you if asked nicely.
Came here for my birthday meal with my boyfriend and was pleasantly surprised by the food - there is quite a large menu and the portions are a really nice size. I was expecting the plates to be small as it's quite an upscale restaurant but I couldn't actually finish all my food! The plaice was delicious, probably one of the nicest meals I've had. You must try the cocktails, even though they are a lot of money they are delicious
The place looks great and service is just perfect. Didn’t like the food. Eggs Benedict were brought to me about two minutes after I ordered them. The sauce on top was dry and cold. They were prepared long before I ordered them. You would think the price is high enough to be sure the food is fresh. Spoiler: it’s not. The view is great though!
Booked for our anniversary the view was simply breathtaking, the food was delicious and the service was just perfect! They decorated a desert plate with 'Happy Anniversary' for us as I had informed them when I booked the table which was just so lovely! Would definitely recommend for a special celebration dinner with family, friends or date night... We were pleasantly surprised that the bar on the floor below had live music and a DJ every Fri night and ended up staying a lot later than planned as it turned into such a fun night!!
