  • Great horses for all abilities at both stables for hacking and lessons. Very friendly and helpful staff and the instructors are happy to work with you on aspects of your riding that you need to focus on. I have never had a bad experience at either stable and am impressed with the communication when booking.

  • My daughter had an amazing ride! The instructor was so helpful and obviously loved her job which made the experience all the better. The receptionists at Stag Lodge 1 are so kind and genuine - they go above and beyond the call of duty to make you comfortable and happy! Exceptional staff who are all a great to have a laugh with and care about your time there. Colour me impressed Stag Lodge! We'll be coming back very soon!

  • Fantastic place. Have been searching for a place to ride since I moved to London, and these stables offer arena lessons and hacking out in Richmond Park. The park is right on their doorstep - no riding on roads for 10mins to get there and back! Very helpful staff as well as parking can get confusing as you must park inside the park but they gave me directions well enough that I got my way around. Thank you Cleo the horse and a lovely instructor!

  • Had another great ride in Richmond Park today. Well mannered, keen horses and great staff - friendly and professional. I've been riding at Stag Lodge now for about 4 years and learnt a lot as well as having some brilliant hacks on and off track. Wish I lived closer, I'd go more often!

  • A lovely place to ride and the staff are great. We got lost, but the lady on the desk was very helpful directing us to where we needed to go. The girl who taught my daughter was was lovely and they really got on well and we will definitely be coming back for regular lessons.
