Absolutely lovely. A surprisingly busy pub makes a delightful dining room out back. A cosy environment, complete with fireplace, backed up with great food and attentive service. Give it a go!
This isn’t your cookie-cutter pub. The food here is better than most pubs and it’s off the beaten path. The roasted fig and goat cheese starter is yummy. We had crab scotch egg, duck confit, fish & chips, and the pies were terrific. Our server (Angie) made us several rounds of specialty gin and tonic drinks with all different flavors and ingredients (the one with the Seville orange was superb). They have dozens of gins and she knows them well. I have a new appreciation for these concoctions! We had a great time on our last night together in London as a group at this pub.
Nice pub.. nice clientele. Nice location. Great in summer when the crowd is large and outside. Food not bad.
Cozy and traditional local pub in South Kensington. Traditional pub food and beers. Friendly staff and nice settings. There is an outdoor porch with few tables. It gets really busy during summer time and at happy hour time (5-6pm) after work and over the weekend.
Very friendly staff. Good drinks selection and tasty food. Can be a bit noisy and slow with food service while the Christmas party crowd in but it is a really nice environment which is a delight to spend time in.
