If you wish to enjoy some very fine theatrical performances, then you got to pay a visit to The Duke of York's Theatre which is a Victorian theatre which was opened in 1892 but it was only after 1935 that it became properly functional as a performing arts theatre. The talent of the professionals here is mind-blowing and watching acts here is a pleasure by all means for the energy and finesse with which acts are performed is out of the world. The sitting arrangement and acoustics at The Duke of York's Theatre are a class apart and the snack bar serves good quality of drinks and snacks.

Loved seeing Summer and Smoke here. The bar in the stalls is great. Small, so if you can, get there early to grab a seat and enjoy a drink. Service brilliant. Row F. Seats comfortable. More leg room than other theatres. Great people working there!
A beautiful old building. Great location, a nice bar and comfortable sits. Easy to reach and in the heart of the city. I look forward to come back
Upper Circle Row A has good leg room and seated centrally a great view. It's a lovely, intimate theatre. With space at a premium they've done well to maximise the ladies facilities!
Great theatre. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the wine at the bar. Decent leg room in the stalls. We saw Summer and Smoke which is a fantastic show
Saw King Lear and the play was amazing, all the actors we awesome, the theater was beautiful and intimate. The stage had a rain storm, explosions, great lighting and sound. The seats were comfortable, the drinks and snacks were good. The bathrooms were clean, the staff very friendly and helpful. The even sell pints of ice cream during intermission in the seating area. The only reason this is getting a 4 instead of five star is the stair are small and narrow and a little scary while wearing heels and there is an overhang from the balcony over the seats which made the view feel a little limited although still pretty good. Seats were L3
