Established in 2004, The Foundling Museum gives you an insight into the history of the Foundling Hospital which is Britain’s first home for children at risk of abandonment. Touring the museum, you will be able to see the nationally important collection of the Foundling Hospital, along with the Gerald Coke Handel Collection which is housed on the uppermost floor of the museum building. The exhibits include works that span from the 18th to the 20th century, contributed by some of Britain’s well-known artists, including Thomas Gainsborough, Louis-Francois Roubiliac, William Hogarth, and many more.
