London Eye is easily one of the most visited attractions in the city of London.

Lovely view from the eye...London is an amazing city..

  • Opened to the public in early 2000. Fabulous looking and a brilliant way to see the city. Super safe, the pods are roomy and extremely light and airy. Very popular so best get your tickets early. Went up a few years ago and had a great time. Will do it again soon.

  • Used our Merlin premium passes to walk up and queue on the fast track queue. 15 mins and we were on. Not to bad considering it was a Sunday afternoon! Our pod was not full of people. As expected views were great, as the sun was starting to set. Only slight downside was 2 or 3 of the tablet like help guides were not working, so could not work out all the main buildings you can see.

  • It’s worth doing once for the experience. It is however very expensive and touristic. Book tickets in advance if you don’t want to wait in a very long lines. The view is good but not the best in London. Something like the sky garden provides better views (my opinion) for free

  • It can be hard to get really good pictures because of the glass distortions, propensity for windows to fog, and the bright interior lights. Best bet is to find smooth parts of the windows and use your hand to quickly try to shield out reflections before the window fogs. The views during the day and night are different, but both stunning - the night time photos are definitely cooler if you have a camera that does well in low light, but it's easier to identify landmarks during the day.

  • This was for the guided champagne tour. Very helpful staff at the lounge where I was given a champagne cocktail and panoramic guide whilst waiting for our go to the eye. Very nice view of London which lasted 30 minutes. It was a grand view at night the city was lit with buses and pedestrians hustling about. Definitely go for this one if you have the means.
