A nice little Fuller's pub situated on Whitehall/Parliament Street. There is a great restaurant. I find the service is always quick and friendly. For a central London pub it retains a good 'local' feel. They've got the full range of Fuller's beers and lager. If you enjoy ale you'll be in the right place. Try ESB.
Went here for a beer and lunch. We weren't disappointed at all! The food was nice and was very tasteful. The staff was also very kind and we had good service.
Had a tasty pint and delicious food, friendly mates, what more can you ask of a pub? Went with our friends from the States and had a grand time of it. Will be taking our grown children on our next visit. Best to eat mid afternoon between lunch and dinner to avoid the massive crowds if you hope to ever get a table downstairs. Small price to pay.
Very decent pub. Numerous pints (they do an assortment) + food (mostly about pies) in 2014. Very nice decoration and friendly staff.
London is literally ripe with pubs, and how could it be otherwise after all? However, I have a little bias for this small, historical pub a few metres away from Westminster Cathedral. Known and frequented by Charles Dickens himself, who had a good impression of the maid, this pub exudes its history from its very walls and bar. I find the crew really friendly and nice to have a word with while drinking or ordering. It is certainly not the largest pub in London and can easily become crowded, nor it is the cheapest, but a good stout ale and a traditional fish and chips here are worth every penny. Can't wait to be back in London for another visit here!
