  • Popular venue especially for Sunday lunch. A reservation is essential on Sundays. The choice on Sundays includes four or five starters including French Onion soup and warm Scotch Eggs. Roast rib of beef and a whole roast chicken to share being the main roasts for mains but other choices like fish are available. Portions are very generous, Yorkshire Puddings the size of plates. A big selection of beers from around the world all served with a smile. All recommended.

  • This is a place that my friends and I go to quite frequently. We always find the atmosphere to be amazing, the staff to be super friendly and polite, and for the food to be amazing. We usually go on Tuesdays, when they have a 50% off on food, and we always have chicken wings, Mac and cheese, chips and gravy, and an awesome vegan burger. Dogs are allowed and welcome! The selection of beers is good, and the location is just superb! I will always recommend The Stag 🖤

  • Super nice pub. Arriving late, I was accommodated in the best way: warm welcoming and smiles. Plus, they manage for me to get diner while the kitchen was closing. Great choice of beers, good veggie burger, good rock classic music! I will be back

  • Posh and cool at the same time. A well presented pub with a warm atmosphere along and a tasteful decor. I have always enjoyed the music there and the various theme days-or better said- theme nights. The pub offers a good selection of beers and whiskeys although I am not a savvy drinker I have always enjoyed the good quality in their alcohol selection. On a Saturday and Sunday the place is very popular especially as it offers an ample garden space with sheds and outdoor heaters. I remember it as my favourite place to watch the rugby world tournament few summers ago. Also a place I happened to bump into celebrities from across the media.

  • Really friendly staff and the food was really delicious. Some good vegan and vegetarian choices too. And a big bonus they are dog friendly
