The Wallace Collection, London Reviews - Write a Review
I have lived in London for over 30 years and was completely unaware of the existence of this place until now. It's a hidden gem of a museum, with free admission and a great collection of exhibits and paintings and special exhibitions all enhanced by a nice cafe, which served me the best coffee I have had for some months. My wife and I are going back next week to see the rest of what we missed. There's a lot to see and it could take all day.
Breathtaking! A full on experience - almost too much to take in on 1 visit. 25 galleries, packed with exquisite 18th century paintings, porcelain, furniture & armoury. Displayed in sumptuous surroundings - Titian, Goya, Fragonard, Velazquez, Hals & Rembrandt all to be enjoyed for free! The staff are polite & helpful without being intrusive . A beautiful dining area is available with plentiful seating dotted around the museum.
I really love this place. Absolutely the best collections of French antiques. Do not miss this place. The restaurant offers great afternoon tea .
Omg. This is an amazing collection. The rooms are to die for. The paintings and china exquisite. A must on your visit to London. Even the males would enjoy the incredible displays of rifles and armour.
What I could say.. Just visit the place! Really worth it. Nice and easy tour around the place. Great collection.
