  • Pros: Really a good spot to stay, close to Victoria tube and coach station. Walkable distance to Buckingham palace. Geographically it's good and even the rooms were comfortable and clean. Cons: For the 3 days of our stay the lift was not in operation not sure if it's even fixed now. Looks like it's a recurring issue as I've seen few others commented the same issue at various period of stay. Claiming is as a 4star hotel this is not at all acceptable.

  • Had an afternoon tea here which my partner bought on living social.. It was lovely despite some of the mixed reviews we had read before going. The waitress was brilliant.. Couldn't have asked for better.. Great service and would definitely return. Food lovely and scones nice and warm. Cakes great choice including lemon and Carrot cake.. Also had a cappuccino to start whilst she prepared the sandwiches and cakes.

  • Disappointing!! Very small rooms. Water drains very slowly. Hear other guests in their rooms. Took 3 days to get TV fixed. Promised to call Health dept if blood-stained mattress was not removed. Location DOES NOT make up for short comings. Clearly, staff have no clue what is required when working in hospitality. FYI, as of Sep 25th, elevator still NOT working. Talk about Faulty Towers!!

  • Advertised as a luxurious hotel, got to the room and there were holes in the walls from previous decoration and patches of paintwork missing. The amenities fridge doubled up as a bedside table. There were marks on the walls up the stairs where previous customers luggage had been acquainted with the paintwork and not been covered over. The king size bed base had a 4-5inch bare lip on one side where the double mattress was too small for the base. All in all, a misadvertised, poorly maintained room with lack lustre decor. Not really the luxury Trivago advertise.

  • Not great but OK. Comfortable beds and quiet. Polite staff. Excellent location for the major tourist spots like Buckingham Palace, but the lift was broken (had been for days) and it’s just generally tired and in need of a refit.
