Play a game at one of the UK's busiest tennis centres - Wimbledon Park and score to win! With over 20 park tennis courts available to the public, Wimbledon Park was built on a 67 acres of land and was transformed in the 18th century by the English landscape architect. The park now also owns one of the biggest lakes in South London. Open on weekdays, you can have an exclusive game of tennis if you’re in the mood of some outdoor activity. Suitable for toddlers, bring your kid to play while you sit on fresh, clean grass to read or just admire nature.

  • Overall very good. Prices are adequate. Staff are often very friendly. The tennis courts are all in good condition. It’s not always necessary to book in advance depending on the availability. good weather&summer holidays=busy. I recommend booking in advance however if you are unable to do not worry. Also tennis rackets and tennis balls are available to hire from the cafe a couple of metres away from the courts. And the cafe is good to replenish and revitalise after a game!

  • It is very big and is a great place to go and it has their own tennis balls

  • Decent facilities but the tennis courts are well over priced. I don't mind paying a bit more for the artificial turf courts but £12 an hour for the tarmac is ridiculous, especially as you can get better quality courts in other areas of London for £5 an hour. For this reason I refuse to play regularly at Wimbledon Park and choose other courts elsewhere to save money, which is a shame as I only live round the corner.

  • Great park for bbq. Tennis, beach volleyball, mini golf and terrific play area for little ones.

  • Simply beautiful. The stand out features are the large array of tennis courts and open spaces. Easily accessible by public transport / car.
