The main attraction of Long Beach is the City Beach on the waterfront. Referred to as Junipero Beach by the locals, this beach faces south. If you do not like too much sun on your face, this beach is perfect for you. You will often see families relaxing on the beach or playing in the sand. This beach is quite wide, so young children can definitely be brought here along with their parents. Looking to do a spot of fishing? head to pier on the beach, most of the good catch is around here. Public restrooms are available near the entrance of the beach. The two snack bars on the beach also aid families visiting the beach. You will barely see a hungry soul on the beach thanks to the availability of food through the snack bars. If you don’t want to walk on the sand, you can walk in the Bluff Park that stretches alongside the beach but is covered with grass.
