  • I came here with my girlfriend for our anniversary. One of the ladies at the front desk, Alice, took one look at my military I.D. and immediately gave us the best service I've ever had at a Hotel. She took care of our parking, upgraded our room, and made sure we were satisfied with everything. Great service at this hotel, military friendly staff, great time all around. Thank you Alice.

  • I wanted a quick get away for my birthday so I decided to book at the Long Beach Westin. I honestly can't say enough about the hotel, amenities and the staff. Gabby in particular made my birthday and quick get away most memorable. When I arrived I was on crutches, but the hotel staff took great care of me and even wheeled me to my What Gabby and the staff did not know about me was that that day even though it was my birthday, I had faced some other challenges before getting to the hotel. Gabby took care of me as did the staff assigned to me. My room and view was amazing. I slept so comfortably in the bed and appreciated the lavender oil to rub on your temples for a more relaxed sleep. After check out and my return home I didn't realize that I left a very precious piece of jewelry behind. In fact weeks later is when I noticed it missing. I called today and spoke with house keeping and they found my jewelry and kept it for my return! Now talk about integrity. From the time you pull up to the hotel until the time you are checking out, this hotel ambiance and the friendly/genuine staff just make your stay so much more memorable. I didn't want to leave! Thank you guys!

  • Rooms are okay. Lobby has an amazing view of ocean, is huge, and while dated, spectacular!!! You have to see it for yourself. I actually cannot explain the lobby in words. The best I can do is: You just want to be there. Great vibe. Huge area. A bar. As sun sets into all glass facing ocean, it is something to witness. Service was slow as we waited at least 20 minutes to check in. Leaving was a nightmare. Only one exit in lower parking ramp open and automated checkout malfunctioned (we weren't the only ones with this problem). Had to park and go to lobby. Stuck in parking ramp for 45 minutes before malfunction was corrected. Not pleasant!!!

  • In the Convention Center area of Long Beach, this is the best hotel. The Hyatt has a slightly better location, but the heavenly bed, restaurant and other features of the Westin are better and their location across from the performing arts theater is only a little bit further of a walk than the Hyatt. I've stayed at all the hotels here more than once for various conventions and the Westin is always my first choice.

  • Good room, smells nice. Good maids, also smell nice. Nice front desk staff, nice elevator. Has a pool and a view. Has bathrooms with real working toilets. No smoking allowed in front but it's California so who gives a flying frick!
