My son, Steve Maly recommended Cleo's and I had dinner there on a recent trip. I must say I was not disappointed. Everything about the evening was exquisite; the food was delicious, the staff friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere made for a memorable night. I would highly recommend and thank you to the staff and chef for a wonderful evening

My son, Steve Maly, highly recommended Cleo's. On a recent trip to NY I tried it. I was not disappointed. Everything about the evening was exquisite; the food - out of this world, the service friendly and helpful, and a great atmosphere. I would highly recommend. Thank you to the staff and chef

  • Drinks and appetizers were legit. Grilled asparagus, the pastries stuffed with season ground beef called Smoke Cigars, eggplant chips were bomb, and the little gyro lamb sandwiches. All delicious. If you like whiskey get the Old Man and the Sea. The Ambiance is upscale, even sing by the bar is enjoyable. The wait staff is professional and classy. Everything is on the high end side of cost but you're right in the heart of Hollywood so what can you expect?

  • Ambiance excellent. Interesting people. Food is good. We had the Cigar appetizer, saffron paella, seared whole branzino, and lemon cheesecake. Service was mediocre. Our waiter left his personality at home. He was courteous, but had no insight into the menu or real interest in engaging with others. What a shame .... you have a beautiful location & decent food costing a pretty penny, but not so great service.

  • I'll start with the positives. The staff was excellent, great service and knowledgeable. Everything just flowed and so many people working to make the experience nice. The decor and ambiance are also commendable. Now for why I am giving this a 3, the food was overly salted. The three dips were great but someone had a heavy hand with salt... paella, salad, shiskabob and potatoes over salted. Great flavor underneath though. Also, they had a full bar with lots of options but beer options were slim. I would still go back, but speak up on the front end about the salt.

  • Came in with a group of 9 for a reservation and was seated fairly quickly. Service was good but the food was cold by the time it got to the table. Are table was next to the hand off station. It looked like most of the food was put out then taken back for some. Quality of the food was good but again cold and extremely small portions. They recommend you to share with the table but the portions were sample size. Once they changed chefs the kitchen opened up in cheer.

  • Long overdue review, but here it goes! Came here. For my friends birthday dinner 2 years ago, yep it's old one. Was saving the pictures for my food blog but I'm vegan now so wanting to share some great photos and reviews. The food tastes so clean, tasty, and flavorful. Nothing to complain except we had to order for large group and signed a waiver/contract and 2 people couldn't come but we were still charge per persons around $75 dollars also the food didn't seem like it was for the party amount we paid. Asked for extra hummus as I got there late and it was gone, they charged us for another hummus plate which I thought could've been told before hand or given for free our bill was about $1000+ so yeah. I here it's closed now but if the management ever reads this it will be good to know my thoughts. Food was great overall but pricey than needed, service was ehh.
