Food was good, But... When we got there our names weren't on the reservation although we had an e-mail, text and a phone call verifying it. Finally, when they believed we have a reservation, they realized our guests had actually already arrived. Only that they didn't and the waitress walked us to a stranger's table. Needless to say everyone felt super awkward. After that we got a smaller table. Whatever. Also our waitress didn't understand what "deaf" means, and kept whispering to one of the guests, although we told her a few times she needs to stop doing that. On top of everything she made us feel unwelcome there, and it was not fun. A little work on the service will make this place amazing.
Food is very good, I have tried most of the menu and have yet to be disappointed. The service can be a little hit or miss though which is why I docked a star. They get very busy, so I suppose it is somewhat understandable, but I can feel how rushed the servers are at times. Cocktails are great too though! Overall I definitely recommend Cleo for a delicious Hollywood dinner.
The life is so short to miss this place. Excellent, authentic Greek food and great service. Simply the best! Simply “The Greek Food”. Απλά τέλεια.
We called for reservations before going to see Hamilton; however, there were no tables available. We were fortunate enough to walk into the restaurant and two seats miraculously ooened up at the bar. The food and atmosphere were outstanding and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience!
Amazing food! DEFINITELY make a reservation several days in advance. The restaurant was totally booked up and we went right at opening. Great location for dinner before Pantages so if you want to eat here make sure to reserve a spot. We were incredibly well taken care of. Service was prompt, friendly. Note that prices are a bit deceptive as the portions are incredibly small. They will recommend 2-3 $15 (average) plates per person. My husband and I are smaller eaters so we had 3 plates for the two of us which was a perfect amount...we were stuffed full of wonderful food but didn't need to take leftovers (which wouldn't have been good anyways as we were headed to Hamilton afterwards). Highly recommend the fried chicken dish w/apricot mustard. Amazing overall!
