The add-on of the ‘Cookie’ in the name of the place itself describes what the place is famous for. Phenomenal deserts at unbelievably affordable prices is the USP of Diddy Riese and we cannot agree more. After hours availability and cheap prices make it a local’s favourite and there can be a queue even at late night. But for that taste and those prices, its all worth the wait! Recommended- ice-cream sandwich!

Diddy Riese Cookies Reviews & Ratings
There's a line most of the time, but it moves pretty fast. They have all of their options on a giant menu and all the cookies are labeled. They are quick and if it takes you more than 5 minutes that's 100% your fault. Cheap. Delicious. I'll keep coming back.
Very long line on a Saturday night. Apparently, this place has been a fixture here for about fifty years. The line moved reasonably quick, but it ended up taking about a half an hour to get to the counter. Everyone around us was very friendly, and was either there for the first time like us, or a veteran who encouraged us that it was worth the wait. So the experience in line was not negative. We got a dozen assorted cookies. They were excellent. We would return, but if in a hurry, we would avoid Saturday night.
old school cookie and ice cream sandwich is the best - reasonably priced. Not a fancy or trendy decor - just plain good. Been here many times when visiting out relatives in LA.
The line was very long on a Monday night around 9, but I guess it was orientation week for UCLA. Got through the line pretty quickly and the ice cream was great! I had the peanut butter cup ice cream sandwich between a chocolate chip cookie and a white chocolate chip cookie. It’s not very expensive either.
This is one of my favorite pit stops for a treat. Prices have gone up a bit but you still get a delicious ice cream sandwich for $3. I love that you can pick your two favorite cookies amd whatever ice cream you like. Oh, the shave is is good too and for under $3.
