The add-on of the ‘Cookie’ in the name of the place itself describes what the place is famous for. Phenomenal deserts at unbelievably affordable prices is the USP of Diddy Riese and we cannot agree more. After hours availability and cheap prices make it a local’s favourite and there can be a queue even at late night. But for that taste and those prices, its all worth the wait! Recommended- ice-cream sandwich!

Diddy Riese Cookies, Los Angeles Reviews - Write a Review
There's always a line here unless you come at an off hour. But don't worry because the lines move quick and you'll reach the front in about 10 minutes. The cookies and cookie sandwiches here are delicious. They are no gourmet cookies, but they hit the spot and are cheap. Cookies are 2 for $1. The cookie sandwiches are $2. Where else can you find a place nowadays for such a cheap dessert option!
This place was quite the gem. Amid very expensive restaurants in the the Los Angeles area it was very refreshing to find cookies for $0.50 and ice cream sandwiches for $2. We had a lot of fun while standing in line and looking over all they had to offer. The server was very friendly especially after we kept changing our minds, it didn't seem to bother him. He was enjoying his job. I would happily return here when visiting California again in the future.
Where else can you get amazing ice cream sandwiches for $2.50 in LA? Always a long line when I go, but it's worth the wait. Mix and match different cookies and ice cream!
They make great baked goods. From cookies to brownies. They also sell ice cream. There are specials on day old cookie bundles, but those go fast and are usually gone before the evening. Why it doesn't have a 5 star is that it's a cash only place.
Love the ice cream sandwich. Pick your cookies and your ice cream. So delicious and such a value. Well worth the wait.
