Exposition park is one of the best recreational areas in Los Angeles. But more than its nature of proving you with a great spot for relaxation, it is known for its impeccable unconventional architecture and infrastructure. The park dates back to the 189th century and served as an agricultural ground for very long. In the year 1909, this 160-acre space was changed by a group of people who thought of undertaking the project and providing the city of Los Angeles with a park where they can enjoy some quiet time.

Exposition Park Reviews & Ratings

  • I think this is a really cool idea - having so many museums right near and easily accessible. That being said, it needs some work to be great museums. The exhibits are sparse, and need more substance. The shuttle is great, but the display is lacking. I hope in the next few years, they build up the museums.

  • Lots of wonderful exhibits that are both fun and educational not only for kids but also for adults. The Endeavor parked there (after seeing it being flown around LA a few years ago) was awesome! People who works there are also very nice and friendly.

  • The park is very nice with the main outdoor attraction being the rose garden. If you’re looking for a spot to sit in the shade say like with a picnic blanket this isn’t really the place. Yes there are grassy areas but this isn’t a park with large play areas for kids. The park is mostly made up of the various museum buildings. Still a nice area to spend the day.

  • I went here to see the Natural Science Museum and I wasn't disappointed. They have a program that allows LA county residents to visit the museum for free, Mon-Fri 3-5pm. All I needed to show was my ID as proof of residence. The only thing I had to pay for was parking, $12.00 for all day.

  • So much! 2 visits? 3? Knowledgeable staff. Did you know some sharks lay spiral eggs? Designed to burrow and not get washed out by tide. Amazing!
