Langers, Los Angeles Reviews
Spicy fried chicken noodle. It's so dang good! The place is always packed, so because of this and one in our party wasn't well we decided to order take out. The menu is small but their food is delicious! The service is awesome too, they keep the flow fair and moving. Everyone is happy. They made a special bland roasted chicken noodle for my sick hubby back at the hotel, they suggested it as they make it for children, it was perfect! If you are in the area, I definitely recommend for tasty, efficient, friendly dining experience!
OMG! #19 and #54 19 style! So good and everything on these compliments each other. But you can still discern the the flavors from each other. You get the salty from the pastrami, the sweet and tangy from the coleslaw then the Russia sauce and a creamy kick to the rye bread. All this meld together to form a wonderful eat.
Langer's Deli is a culinary icon of Los Angeles, and they serve one of the best hot pastrami sandwiches I've ever had. The #19 comes with hand-cut thick slices of pastrami, a perfect ratio of cooling coleslaw, Russian dressing and Swiss cheese, all sandwiched between rye bread. It's a perfect balance of flavors, textures, and temperatures in your mouth all at the same time. Must-eat for any food lover in or visiting LA.
We have been going to Langer's for many years. Sometimes we order and pick up at the corner. But I like the tables and the booths. I like climbing the little stairs to go up to floor above. I like the windows and the pace of the place. Parking is fine with their lot close by.
Pretty decent for pastrami sandwiches. Claims for being better than Katz deli NY definitely not and I'm from San Francisco so there's no bias. The bread is soggy. They definitely need better bread. The meat was good, but definitely missing something.
