Mastro's Steakhouse, Los Angeles Reviews - Write a Review
4.5 stars.not the greatest steak I've ever had (it was exceptional though) but overall the entire meal was excellent. Service was great and restaurant is very hip and classy. It is pricey but you did get what you are paying for. You may find a better steak elsewhere but it would be tough to match the entire meal from appetizers to dessert. Bar downstairs is small and quaint but the second floor bar is big and great place to get a drink with a live piano player and singer on Saturday. Highly recommended if you want a great steak/seafood dinner.
Incredible service! Food is outstanding!! Our waiter Jason knew it was our 17 year anniversary and surprise us with a decadent chocolate cake with fresh whipped cream decorated with Happy Anniversary that just made our night! Thank you for the wonderful dinner experience!!
Tried Mastro's for the first time this weekend. We had reservations, but when we arrived, our table wasn't ready and we waited 45 plus minutes before we received a table . My steak and the food was phenomenal, but the service was horrible; which is why I didn't give 5 stars. Waitstaff was a bit standoffish, which surprised me because I heard the service here was impeccable. I'm sure the establishment can be potentially great so long as it focuses more on hiring and retaining more polite and attentive waitstaff.
The food tasted delicious, especially the Tomahawk steak. There staff were friendly and attentive. The restaurant gets pretty loud and the tables are VERY close to one another.
Excellent! This my favorite restaurant for steak. The service is excellent, the food NEVER disappoints, and the whole dining experience is ALWAYS, ALWAYS exceptional! I do prefer the restaurant and not the Penthouse, that's for the trendy crowd.
