Microsoft Theater, Los Angeles Reviews
Had pretty good seats, row p orchestra level, to George Lopez and 3 others, including Cedric the entertainer. The comedy show was hilarious, the venue was ok. Movie theater style seating so getting in and out for a drink, or to use the restroom was a pain, where everyone had to stand up to let someone by. The cameras and big screens they had up were nice. Audio was also a perfect level. 5 stars to the production team.
They need a more organized way for lines to get in before the show. Security would send us to another line only to get a different response from the security guard for that line. Sounds system is phenomenal. Seats are decent, but long shows are tough on the tailbone. Very well kept up and clean
Venue is intimate when compared to venues such as the Staples Center. Location in the LA Live area is ideal, close to surrounding restaurants. Gave four stars due to the audio issues that were not ideal. Several instances of the backup singers not being heard well and the bass sounds overpowering the quality of the music. Still a nice venue.
Parking: Can be nightmare.... not many street parking in the area. Have to park in the parking structure. It is a huge venue. The theater is clean & maintained very well. The food & drinks here are pricey. Will suggest to eat in the restaurants near the theater first. Overall, a landmark in Los Angeles!!
It was amazing! You really enjoy being in there. Especially if it's the singer you wish to see. Of course they have a bathroom near you, and they even sell food inside the theatre!
