Pershing Square is the perfect place to be at if you are looking for a slight change from the usual hustle bustle of the city. This place has quite an interesting history. It was basically a location where people had settled in the early 1850s. In the 19th and 20th century it went on to make some more history and in the year 1992, it was shut to be renovated into a recreational park. The park opened to the public in the year 1994 and opened with a ten-storied bell tower, as well as, various fountains to increase the beauty of this place.

Pershing Square Reviews & Ratings
Busy and fun place to go. Food options for everyone. The places we went were great. Seating is slim but most everything is made to walk and eat if you don’t over order.
This is one of my favorite spots to go in LA. Often times there are events happening here, it's family friendly, and has a great view of Down Town LA from ground level. This park is maintained beautifully and has a little park for kids and some trees for shade. A great place to sit and read or have a small picnic or take the kids for some needed outside time.
This is a small park that appears to be safe with a lot of people and dog walkers. There's a security guard. I'd visit it in the early evening but not later at night due to too many transients. There's a statue of Beethoven dedicated to a music director and a statue of a WW I soldier to commemorate General Pershing.
Great place to take pictures, but the security tends to always side with homeless folks, of which are many. Most of them good people but be careful with those that are not friendly. So if you decide to go and take pictures or enjoy the Square design and Sculptures be mindful of your surroundings. Thanks and enjoy the adventure!
