If a delicious bowl of Korean meal excites you, Soban Korean Restaurant is just the right place to go to. The restaurant has been providing an array of tasty and healthy dishes run by a very friendly staff. Planning a special Sunday outing? Do get there early as it gets crowded during the peak hours. Some of their must-try dishes include, fish, eggs, beef and more. Their side dishes also come in big portions and are worth a try. You’ll notice a few dishes written in Korean, but do not hesitate to ask what those are, as they may be one of the specials served there.
Soban Korean Restaurant Reviews & Ratings
Dined in today. I'm Korean and this place has the best Korean food I've ever had! The atmosphere is very cozy, and the food itself has a special home-cooked tenderness while the taste is of a high quality restaurant's food. It's made with a real Korean momma's love! Would give 10/5 stars if I could :)
Very very Delicious! Since I watch so much Mukbang, I came here to finally try Marinated crab. I deeply recommend this place because the waiters were very nice and patient. After you’re done eating, they give you a free dish of fresh, juicy lychee! I hope you try this and give it a chance even if you don’t like crab. There are many more options like other meats as well.
This restaurant is one of the best restaurants in Koreatown for authentic Korean food. They are most famous for the marinated crab which is my most favorite food in the entire world. It is such a delicate and sophisticated process to make the marinated crab. The crab comes from Korea because it has to be a certain type of crab. I recommend this restaurant to anybody who loves authentic Korean food especially the marinated Korean crab. parking is plentiful and a valet basis. Services excellent and the restaurant has been recently remodeled. One of the definite go to restaurants in Koreatown.
This place change since the last time I went. The waitress was very kind. I tried the braised beef short ribs that makes me go back another day to try something different. I strongly recommend you to visit Soban when you visit KTown in LA.
Go early to have a slow leisure meal. As expected, a lot of bancham: 14+1 total. All delicious. Waitress told us the owner's wife makes all the bancham herself. We ordered the "best of". We weren't disappointed. Raw crab was delicious and so were the black cod and seafood pancake. One wall in the restaurant is basically a Jonathan Gold tribute wall. This place is more like $$$ than $$
