Stahl House Reviews & Ratings
Iconic house in the hills above LA 💖 It's a mid-century modern gem, the glass enclosed living room is gorgeous and the views are breathtaking! Our tour guide was very nice and gave us a good history of the house and the family who built it. This place is a photographer's paradise, day or night - definitely worth a visit!
Absolutely worth the time it takes to get reservations. Sunset tour lets you enjoy the views both day and night. House is well designed and it's fun to be able to sit on the furniture and soak it all in.
Astonishing and thrilling. The iconic structure famous for its breathtaking view of the Sunset Strip. It’s a living history. It’s immaculate mid century design and the oft photograph pool and perched on the edge of the cliff.
A dream come true. What a beautiful house and beautiful scenery. The tour was very interesting and informative, and our guide was brilliant. I really recommend visiting the house especially if you’re a big fan of everything 50s, 60s. You can just imagine how it must’ve been like living there during that period. Amazing! If you plan to go here, book a good couple of months well in advance, especially the evening tour.
This unique 2200 sq. ft. House is built on one of the most breathtaking views I have ever had the joy of visiting. We were a group of 20 adults. Sitting in the living room one felt like they were flying. The docent, John, had know the Stahl family for several years. He is a fountain of knowledge about the original architectural design and the phenomenal effort by the senior Mr. Stahl who mostly by himself hauled up tons and tons and tons of broken asphalt and broken concrete and literally hand built the earth foundation for this unique house which is built with 9 ft. High plate glass over 70% of the linear feet of exterior walls. Phenomenal views in every direction.
