  • The portions here are huge! But the food is delicious. Mom's French Toast is excellent, as are the pancakes, the coffee and sides of sausage and bacon. Be prepared for a wait, lots of people love this place. Probably best avoided on weekends - the wait can be well over an hour.

  • Typical LA spot, wait in line for a long time to get mediocre food/service at a cost. A good one time experience for the pancakes, but there's better breakfast to be had (without waiting). Don't get me wrong the pancakes are tasty -- but in my experience you'll only eat a couple of bites before you feel full and regretful. There are definitely other dishes on the menu, but none that we tried were worth waiting for. We've been twice: once to try it and a second time to bring friends who were visiting. Both times less than a quarter of the pancake stack was eaten. Most people just like to take pictures then throw the rest out. If you are looking for a nice traditional breakfast, I think there are better options in LA. If you want a massive plate of pancakes, this is your place. A recommendation would be to just get 1 order of pancakes and share among the table.

  • ‪The combination that do are great. Combine Frosted Flakes and strawberry 🔥🔥🔥. Get there early place fills up quick. The moms French toast 💣. Everything on the menu is good. I have never been disappointed with any meal from the griddle. I wish there was a location in the OC.

  • Enormous pancakes!!! That’s what we had. Three pancakes would feed thousands. This was a fun place to eat. Tacos good too. Service was lovely as well. We enjoyed this. But left loads of food at the end.

  • Get One. Get One! GET ONE. GET. ONE!!!! I can't tell you how important it is to only get one pancake at this place. When they come out you can't even see the plate. It is so filling (amazingly so) that even a grown man could not handle it. Now, if you live in the area and will be going back home, get the regular three - you'll have breakfast for the next three days. But OH MY GOSH just get one if you can't save your left overs. The French toast is manageable tthough. Great food and a good deal even with the higher price tag (the regular price goes down with every pancake you subtract too). 10/10 ideal place to watch people be defeated by flapjacks.
