The Last Bookstore, Los Angeles Reviews - Write a Review
Went here for the costume ball and played this awesome scavenger hunt type game looking for "lost souls" who were somehow transported to our reality. These people were played by actors who did an amazing job and everyone involved was really into it. Looking for clues in this incredible space...good live music in the background...This was the most fun I've had in a long time. I really really hope they do this again!!
Amazing, unique space and strong selection of new and out of print books. Interesting group of galleries and other stores upstairs in the store and cool in-store events. Typical downtown LA parking (no dedicated parking) and my kids were not thrilled by the neighborhood drug addicts. Close to some good restaurants though.
This is such a cool and unique place. Tons and tons of books with art and other media forms available as well. A very novel interior with a small art gallery that takes you to another world. Plus books are super cheap typically, and once you're done with them you can sell them back!
I just loved this place so much and hope I could have stayed longer!... My highlights were the Panini stickers from the 80's and the cute FOLD gallery upstairs with space enamel pins 🚀 and analog cameras. Be sure to lost yourself in the maze and pass through the book tunnel as well!
If you love books, this is the place for you in downtown! The view of the bookstore is amazing from the second floor! There are several sections where the books are artfully places for great photos. Most importantly, there is a great selection of books!
