The Santee Alley Reviews & Ratings
Great place for cheap made-in-china merchandise. It does get real crowded so if you bring kids with you you might want put them on a leash or keep them close to you. Definitely don't have the deals like they used to prices have gone up
It's not the cleanest of all places. There are some amazing finds at great prices but hardly anything is labeled with a price and it seems like they look at you and decide how much to charge. It's best to shop here with cash. Parking is not free and a nightmare on the weekends.
This place will not be for everyone. Just imagine large crowds and people yelling and commotion everywhere. Some stores are decent and have good items to buy. However, beware of the shoes, I purchased sandals and they started to fall apart within eight hours of purchase. Not a picky person, I was satisfied with the street food like the hot dog vendors and some taco stands. (Some stores charge $1 to use the restroom)
The Santee Alley is one of my favorite shopping places to go when I'm in town. There are lots of hidden gems in there. You can enjoy the shopping and really spend a whole day at it that's for sure. Make sure you bring your walking shoes because you will walk a ton.
A visit to Santee Alley is worth it for the unique experience and collective energy in the area. The clothing, shoes, toys, cosmetics, accessories and other goods are cheaply priced. The family-owned restaurants serve good food and drinks. This place is worth to visit again and has a lot to buy and to enjoy.
