Conrad-Caldwell House Museum Reviews & Ratings
If I could give it 10 STARS, I would!! The MOST amazing historical place I have EVER seen. I highly recommend that EVERYONE visit this AWESOME place, to walk back into time, and revisit the PAST!! The tour guide is an actual LIVING relative with 1ST HAND knowledge & incredible stories!! This Castle/Mansion has even been featured on the show PARANORMAL ACTIVITY.... OUTSTANDING!! PLEASE do yourself a FAVOR, & take this FANTASTIC tour!!!
Touring this mansion was definitely like taking a trip back in time. The docent did a fantastic job of explaining how structured life was for the affluent w living in Old Louisville. The craftsmanship seen in the exterior stonework and interior spaces was oppulent. If you enjoy seeing old houses this is a very nice tour for $10.
My friend, her mother and I toured the Conrad-Caldwell House during a short visit to Louisville. We were greatly impressed with the home and its interesting history. Chris our tour guide was outstanding! He answered our many questions and we spent well over 90 minutes enjoying the beauty of the home and the many stories associated with its history. I would highly recommend a visit while in Louisville. It’s a beautiful home with a wonderful story. Plus you just found out it's on the haunted walk at night and was featured on Ghost Hunters....
Wonderful tour with plenty of detail and and knowledgeable docents. The scent of “hand made soap” smells more like linseed oil and pretty strong but still enjoyed our time there very much.
Love, Love, Loved this!!! We called to see about a tour and they said they weren't open. (the online search engine was WRONG!) I was so bummed, while we were in town, this was 1 of my must sees. Thankfully they had a tour coming in and were able to fit us in! So thankful! Delighted to see that the Conrad and Caldwell families are still taking care of the house! That made it that much more special!
