Louisville Palace Theatre - Review

Hosting a range of concerts of great’s like Josh Groban among other famous personalities, the Louisville Palace is one of the only 2 theaters that survived urbanization. Opened in the 1920’s, the theatre was considered an architectural marvel back then and today its acoustics, interiors and majestic grandeur is loved by anyone who visits.

Easily, a mass favorite of locals and tourists alike, the theater adds to the creative experience more than any other venue in Louisville. If you are in time for a concert here, make it an absolute must-see!

Louisville Palace Theatre, Louisville Reviews

  • The venue itself is really cool. The architecture and decor on the inside is gorgeous, and the sound is great for a rock show. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful including the security, ushers and bartenders. I only knocked off a star because of the unbelievable drink prices. $13 for a can of beer... Wow!

  • So beautiful inside! A must see for yourself kind of place because there are no words to describe the incredible amount of detail & architecture! The ceiling is a beautiful nightime blue with twinkling stars that look so real. There is a bar and great sound no matter where you sit. Love it there! Been many times!! Awesome!❤👍

  • Great place to see shows. The detail to the building is very pretty to look at. Bathrooms are always clean and drinks are easy to get to.. parking is convenient with being right across the street

  • This is a great venue for live music. It has a cool vibe. The entryway has neat heads carved all over in the ceiling. And the stage area is designed to look like a classical outdoor theater. The way the lighting is makes it look like the night sky. Also, the theater is not very big, so that and the environment it makes for a fairly intimate show (though not as much as a small venue, of course).

  • I love when every we have an event to attend at the Louisville palace..Everyone needs to if only once.. Go and have the time to sit and take in just how beautiful this spot is. My husband's father was a usher back in the day there..I'm guessing that would have been in the late 50's. My only problem is the seats are small and you can get a little cramped sitting there for a long period..
