  • I have played many games at Meadowbrook since I arrived in Lubbock. It can be very challenging course both at Canyon and especially Creek. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The Lubbock area when I arrived had been under a very challenging drought but is slowly showing recovery as the rains have returned. So I cannot fault the golf course for having to deal with bare spots in the fairways occasionally. The greens have been very well taken care of despite the drought. I have also observed numerous types of wildlife including fox and wild turkey. That’s what brings me to the next statement. The reason I am giving it three stars versus four is because of the ever increasing population of prairie dogs. I know this to be extremely difficult to control since the golf course is adjacent to a highly populated prairie dog area. But lately the prairie dogs are moving more and more into the golf course and causing a lot of issues in the terrain and field of play.

  • I played the Creek Course and it had some very difficult holes. The back 9 seemed to be a bit easier though. The fairways were much better than expected (we also has some rain a week ago so that probably helped) and the greens held shots well and maintained a pretty consistent speed. Nobody must have felt like golfing today because I never got backed up nor was anyone less than two holes behind me. I played for $10 and overall you cant beat it for the price assuming the conditions are consistently like this.

  • Good course, amateur staff. Hope you don’t show up to play when they decide to randomly close the entire course without a heads up or notice. Even to members. This course needs improvement on how to run a course effectively. Rude staff doesn't help their case either. If you can afford it, go elsewhere.

  • Fun courses. Getting T time a breeze. Greens in excellent shape. But the guy who sets hole placements is a jerk. Finds too many wierd n nasty slopes.

  • Staff was great, Canyon course was great, and play was actually pretty smooth for how busy the course was when we went. I will definitely be back to play the Creek course.
