This place is the result of the initiatives taken by the Malaysian government to provide a natural habitat for the green sea turtles as only 7 species are left today. This sanctuary is home to these species of turtles that are getting extinct slowly. They include Leatherback, Green, Hawksbill, and Olive Ridley turtles. The sanctuary also has turtle exhibits that provide plenty of information about turtles.
