Barrio Grund - Review
It is an alluring little district located at the bank of River Alzette and gives a peek at the laid back side of the city. The exciting attraction it is known for is the paradoxical lifestyle where serenity and jazz goes hand in hand. While the city sees travellers walking along the lines of the Petrusse river, exploring the numerous quaint cafes and boutiques during the day, the nightlife of the Grund is another story altogether. There are various pubs and restaurants in and around the city that comes alive during the nights making it a perfect place to stay and explore for a while.

Barrio Grund, Luxemburg City Reviews
Lovely part of Luxembourg that seems less touristy and more local. There are some great restaurants along he river and some great spots to eat outside or just to have a drink. Walk down but get the lift back up! Be careful as some of the bars don’t take cards so you’ll need cash.
This is a stunning district, with great views of bridges, water and more. There are plenty of water reflections and it's definitely worth bringing a proper camera to capture them. If the weather's good, it's easy to spend quite a bit of time here.
Beautiful place, you have to be there to understand what a nice place to relax and just the views. Was worth every second
A stunning hidden gem tucked below the city. Totally well worth the visit. I'll be back!!
It is a nice old place with cobbled streets. When I started walking, I did not know what to expect, but the way different parts of the place are joined by bridges, stairs, towers, it's amazing. I started my walk from the 4 storied Castle Bridge, it's true, actually even today, people can walk on the top of the bridge, through the first stage, and then there is a hidden stage, which is walkable when you are in the casements and there is another underground, which is closed for now. Then I walked along the Alzette River, crossed the Grund Gate to visit the Abbey de Neumunster, which is a cultural center now and again continued with my walk upstairs and I reached the Second Gate of Trier, followed by Jacob Tower, the "Old Gate of Trier". I walked on the streets as well and it is a nice, small, cute place. Must visit if you are in Luxembourg. And I don't agree that Luxembourg can be seen in a day, I was there for 2 and a half day and I felt I could have stayed for a day more to see more.
