About Luxor Museum, Luxor
When you visit the Luxor Museum, don’t be disappointed by its size; it’s a lot smaller than the museum you’ll see in Cairo, but just as spectacular mind you! Catch the Wall of Akhenaten, which is made up of small blocks similar to those used in the Karnak Temple. It’s displayed as a tableau which is made from recycled rubble. The highlights of the museum can’t be ranked in order of preference or popularity but among the must see exhibits is the statue of Amenhotep III and the retrieved pieces from Tutankhamun’s tomb.

Luxor Museum, Luxor Reviews
One of the best museums in Egypt.. you could see the perfect art of ancient Egypt and more importantly rhat is very well arranged and the light system is very well. Clean and comfort.. there is no extra mummy tickets or other . Just go there and see the real history of ancient Egypt
One of the better museums in Egypt. Much smaller, but I thought the presentation and items were much better than the Egyptian museum in Cairo. Definitely go if you're in Luxor for the ruins (which are obviously the bigger draw). Open late, after all the sites close.
Well set up & very good layout. Enough information on all the items. Some really interesting things to see. Not even close to the size of the one in Cairo, but worth a quick visit.
Best museum I have been to in Egypt. The place has a lot of cultural and is very organized.
They have winter and summer working hours. They work from 8 am till 2pm and from 5pm till 8pm in the winter. It's a very well designed museum where you can see a lot of ancient Egyptian antiquities and mummies. Rabdom collection of pharaonic, coptic roman pieces. Things are very well lit and displayed so you get to enjoy the the displayed pieces. Definitely recommended I enjoyed the your very much.
