Standing at a massive 200 feet, the towers of the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church make it one of the tallest buildings in Macon and in fact the tallest twin towers in the city! This Neo-Gothic Church is as stunning from the inside, as it is from the outside with its stained glass windows depicting the Salvation story, a majestic 1000-piped organ and a splendid marble altar and pulpit. Visit the church for a highly spiritual and enlightening time.

St. Joseph's Catholic Church Reviews & Ratings
Visiting from out of town. Loved the decor. Wished for better organist. Not terrible, just not what you'd expect at this calibre church Crossed my mind to say, "move over, let me show you," but shoes and music were in the choir and that would have been rude. .
Entering this Catholic Church is a Wonderful Experience. My husband is a Catholic so we have visited often. It is restful , soothing to mind and soul. Just comforting and gives easily time to reflect and pray and slow the fast pace. The Beauty of it all is peaceful. I have read that this Church is the Hidden Gem of Macon, Georgia.
A True Gem of The South! A must see when visiting Macon no matter your denomination. The church is open a good part of the day for visitors and parishioners.
A congregation with strong faith and warm hearts... A pretty traditional catholic church I feel comfortable worshipping here...
This is one of the most beautiful Catholic churches I have ever seen - in fact the only church I've seen that is more beautiful is St. Louis Cathedral in New Orleans. While I am not Catholic I couldn't help but feel the presence of God while I was in the church. It is overwhelming beautiful.
