The Jardin Botanique of Macouria or the Botanical Gardens of Guyana is a member of the Botanical Garden of France and Fancophone countries. The beautiful garden will open up its arms to you, and you will be engulfed by a variety of plants, herbs and a number species of trees, and even some carnivorous plants! At the heart of the garden is the House of Vanilla, from where one gets the extract of vanilla, that we use in so many desserts. Watch out also for the wildlife that you’ll encounter at the park, including snakes, iguanas and beautiful butterflies. The garden will enthrall you!
