‘Abbi’ means ‘waterfall’ in the local Coorgi language. Abbey falls are Coorg’s star attraction because of their joyous silver cascade that gushes down to about 70 feet below. The route to the falls is through beautiful coffee plantations and provides the perfect beginning to the beautiful sight that slowly unfolds in front of your eyes. Well maintained and extremely popular, these falls are a must visit in the monsoons. Feel gentle sprays splash across your face as you become a part of this glorious show of nature.

  • Wear comfortable shoes and carry an umbrella.

  • Reach the falls in a taxi or private car.

  • This time visited on Aug 2019 after good rain fall in the region. It was amazing to watch Abbey falls since water flow was high. Place is well maintained. All the tourist enjoyed this water falls without any hassles. Since flow was high bridge was closed and security guards were also placed at this place. A must visit place. Good parking facility is available. On the road side have basic eatery option such as bread omelet, Maggi, cucumber, churmuri etc at this place.

  • This is a really fascinating place with a high current of water flowing down from a certain height creates and mesmerizing experience along with the beauty of nature and sound of high voltage current of water. perfect place to praise the power of water, nature and obviously to get a perfect click in monsoon season. This place doesn't give you many places to eat. It also doesn't have good parking facilities but still worth visiting this place. Tip: If visiting Coorg: The Scotland of India in monsoon season then must visit this place.

  • Very nice place To go for a picnic. V can spend good time over there and can click nice photos too. A nature friendly place . a well maintained place. People will love going if not all people but I love ha ha just kidding all can go its a good place.

  • Beautiful waterfall!! One thing is there, you need to be fit 😀 there are lots of steps you need to get down n of course will have to climb. But you get awesome view to pay for it. Only minus point is that you can't get near waterfall like you can't enjoy that amazing water falling on you. But I guess that's security related may be.

  • To reach this place,we took car and wait till we come back. We have to walk nearly 1 Km inside (from the drop off point) to see the waterfalls. It is a very nice one in the natural habitat. One should not miss this place.
