‘Abbi’ means ‘waterfall’ in the local Coorgi language. Abbey falls are Coorg’s star attraction because of their joyous silver cascade that gushes down to about 70 feet below. The route to the falls is through beautiful coffee plantations and provides the perfect beginning to the beautiful sight that slowly unfolds in front of your eyes. Well maintained and extremely popular, these falls are a must visit in the monsoons. Feel gentle sprays splash across your face as you become a part of this glorious show of nature.

Abbey Falls, Madikeri Reviews
Very calm and serene place, the sound of the water gushing down has a very soothing effect. Unfortunately, I could see a lot of garbage piled up near the falls, mostly plastics and bottles. Because when nature gives us something beautiful, we people strive our best to undo that. Nevertheless, still a beautiful place to visit with your family. The 10 minute walkway towards the falls is quite pleasant as well.
I had an awesome tourist experience here... The walk from the parking area till the falls is simply beautiful, along with coffee plants on the sides... The waterfall view is simply breathtaking... Went here during monsoon.... So it was raining when we went and we had double the fun... Must visit for tourists😃
Good falls to visit with family especially during monsoon and winter. The walk to the falls is extremely pretty with coffee plants on both sides. The climb back up from the falls is moderately difficult for middle aged people. However there are sufficient places to rest along the way. Need about an hour to see properly
This is a really nice tourist attraction as it offers a great view of the gushing water from the falls. The only downside are the number of steps you'd have to climb to see the falls, and the large crowd especially around 4-5pm. Overall its a great place to visit if you are a nature lover!
The place is too good. But you have walk around 200 steps to get down there and see the falls. The opening is around 9 am and closing time is 6 pm. You will enjoy going there and there are more foods available outside. However, you cannot get near the falls.
