Raja's Seat - Review
Surrounded by musical fountains and beautiful flowers, Raja’s seat is probably the prettiest man made landscape in the town. The garden is a glorious sight when the flowers are in season and in full bloom. It is said that the Kodavu kings loved to spend time at this spot with their wives. The toy train in the garden takes people around the park to enjoy the full view of the mountains.

Raja's Seat, Madikeri Reviews
The place is serene in the morning. Although I'd not rate it too great but the view is spectacular at sunrise and sunset. Winter morning dews are a catch. The place has 4 small yet well maintained lawns for tourists to rest. At the edge of the hill is a platform to view the valley ahead. Lots of flowers around provide a sweet smell to the air.
A beautiful and soothing sunset view point. It can be crowded at times but a good tip will be to reach early in the evening hours. There is a toy train around the park. Entry fee is Rs 5 or 10..(As of 2017 - Can't recall) and its worth it. Definitely plan for it.. You can attain peace by looking at the Sun changing from yellow to orange and allowing the night to rule 😊
Picturesque views. There was light rain at the which although blocked most of the clear visibility, it added to its scenic beauty. Vehicles moving at the road below gave a cinematic feeling. If you want clear visibility, visit in non rainy season. Although if you are lucky, you will have the best experience in rainy season. Nearby attractions for kids as well.
This place is truly named so. What a majestic view of the valley from the edge. Although we went during the monsoon, the sky was pleasantly clear. Despite the hustle bustle of constantly pouring public, you can find your own peaceful spot in this place and have a calm time
Amazing place to hang out and take photographs, great breathtaking view of the mountains. Small park to roam around in, but thats pretty much it, not a lot there to do after this. Still definitely a place to check out if you have never been there before.
