One of the biggest malls of Madison, the Hilldale Shopping Center is considered as one of the best things to do if you plan to have a day out. Originally the mall’s genesis is estimated to date back to the year 1962. Macy’s and Target are two places that people usually look forward to shopping at while heading here. Popular restaurants like Pasquals, Porta Alba, and Cafe Hollander among others draw a significant number of crowds too. To sum it up, this is a clean, moderately sized mall with good restaurants and some luxury brands.

Hilldale Reviews & Ratings
Such a great space. Lots of places to eat and shop. The public outdoor spaces make it especially family friendly. There no better outdoor mall in Madison.
They need to get some cute clothes in there for juniors. That place is really gone downhill they have nothing. you stand in line and wait to get checked out because they have two people working the whole upper floor and a line of people.
Shoplifters at Target... watch the registers, Since a nicely dressed person loaded $40 + in groceries in bags, the left the self checkout. I put my first item down and saw the total. I got a clerk's attention, but the person eluded the clerk very quickly. The clerk returned without the perpetrator, but no one seemed concerned. All they did was void the order.
Hip, cool, useful. Kid friendly and easy parking. Groceries to a new iPhone. Outdoor mall with it all. New to Madison? Start here! You can get your Badger gear at Bucky’s second home The University Book store and then wander to Twigs for trendy women’s threads. Metcalfe’s is a best of Madison grocery store. Then catch a flick at a unique movie house while your new iPhone is downloading. Seriously, what’s not to like?
Too high prices just because it is at Hilldale. I don't get it why would you spend high dollar prices so you can say you bought whatever at Hilldale. Is Hilldale some kind of status symbol for the wealthy people of Madison? Don't middle class people matter anymore? My money spends just the same and I dress neatly and I am polite but won't waist money on status where people won't even speak to me in passing. I have a college education and was raised with respectful manners. I just don't get waisted money for status.
